Tioga Opportunities, Inc. is pleased to announce that it is the recipient of a $25,000 grant from the Tioga County Senior Citizens Foundation for 2017. Numerous programs offered through Tioga Opportunities, Inc. will benefit tremendously from this gift, including Home Delivered Meals, Group Work Camp, and various food pantries throughout the county.
Many older adults in our county depend on these services to help them remain safe and independent in their own homes and to assist them in accessing nutritious meals. The generous support of local foundations, such as the Senior Citizens Foundation, is critical in helping Tioga Opportunities, Inc. meet the needs of the county’s seniors.
Tioga Opportunities, Inc. would like to thank the Senior Citizens Foundation for the generous grant, which will aide in continuing vital services to older adults in Tioga County. Local support such as this grant assists in the provision of services that make an important difference in the lives of many people in the community.
