Coburn Free Library Accessibility Project

Tioga County Senior Citizens Foundation contributed funding to the accessibility project each year for three years. The project was completed in 2021. The improvements gave Coburn Free Library total accessibility to all floors of the building as well as improved lighting and a restroom that meets all ADA requirements for handicap accessible restrooms.

The Coburn Free Library is proud to offer accessibility to the entire building via the Accessibility Annex completed in 2021. Thanks to the Downtown Revitalization Initiative, the New York State Library Construction Grant, local foundation grants, and many individual donations, the Coburn Free Library is now accessible to all!
